It is pretty rare that you would get to see an actual Indian bison. The reason is pretty simple that these animals do not come out in the wild during the day and rarely do they even come out knowing that there are humans around them. Same was the case with us we could not see a single bison. Forget bison rather we only found one or two wild cocks roaming in the jungle and no other animal. They have created a few observation towers inside the sanctuary from where you can get nice clicks of in an around the forest area. At the entry point, there are also few tent houses made wherein you can book and spend the night inside to get that feeling of living in a forest. Apart from that, there are no specialties of this sanctuary and if you are lucky you might get to see an Indian Bison. The best time to visit is during the winter months and especially in the morning when there are chances of seeing animals in the wild....

Its a beautiful spot for wanderlust people chasing waterfalls. Should park vehicles at village. 2-3 kms walking in dense forest from toraskarwadi village. A guide (if available) from village should be taken, cause in the dense forest you can get confused. As we walk in dense forest, leeches are common. Just before you go, check the level of waterfall as it gets dangerous while continuous raining.
